Healthy breakfast 1 blog

Have a sugar-free breakfast before you leave the house. Try eggs, tomato and avocado, or quinoa or oat porridge or my Sweet Potato Granola?

deep breathing blog

Sit in a silent room and breathe in and out deeply for a minute. Get rid of all that stale air in your lungs and re-oxygenate.

hot-water and lemon blog

Drink lemon and hot water first thing for a spring in your step, healthy digestion and a happy liver.

stretches blog

Do some gentle stretches and side bends as soon as you get up in the morning.

cinnamon blog

Cinnamon is amazing. Full of flavour and a great stabiliser for blood sugar and moods. Add a teaspoon to your breakfast.

sugar free snack blog

Snack sugar-free with celery, carrot and hummus. Delicious, healthy and a quick energy boost!

detox your workspace blog

Detox your workspace today, emptying those drawers of sugary drinks, foods and snacks!

coffee after breakfast blog

A morning coffee is fine but ONLY after breakfast. Mint tea makes a natural pick-me-up thereafter!

Smile blog

Smile – it triggers endorphins and happy hormones and becomes a positive habit!

good fats blog

Good fats give great glow! Be sure to eat some nuts, seeds, avocado or oily fish today.

Add some movement to your day. Take the stairs not the lift or go for a walk at lunch.

Day 20 blog

Have two portions of dark green leafy vegetables. Mix things up with spinach, broccoli, chard or spring greens.

flowers blog

Monday 21st Buy yourself a bunch of flowers, men included. It can be cheerfully cheap, like daffodils. You are worth it!

Life after the 21 day Spring into Action plan:

The 80:20 rule.

I get it, life doesn’t always go to plan and even the best intentions can be intercepted! That’s why I’m a firm believer in living life according to my 80:20 rule. 80% of the time -and where it’s under your control – you stick to this energy and positivity-enhancing action plan. Then, 20% of the time, you can let your hair down!

Remember to get in touch and let me, and the rest of the Health Tribe, know how you get on. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, #SpringintoAction!

Nourishing well wishes,

Angelique

Consult your doctor or health care practitioner for any health problems, and before embarking on any new health regimes, using any supplements or before making any changes in prescribed medications or food programmes.

Part of my work in clinic is to identity and address the root cause which is responsible for the symptoms a client is experiencing. The most common underlying condition I see is unbalanced hormones. Once I noticed that balancing hormones leads to the reduction of so many other symptoms, I knew I had to create a simple plan to help people understand and support their hormones.

Follow the plan
