You can leave it out or try half a banana, reduce the other fruit by half though. Let me know!

Good to hear you are going to try the smoothie!

Fresh is always best but yes, you can store the smoothie for a couple of days in a sealed bottle/container in the fridge.

Let me know what you think.

Not sure I will get the rest of the family on board just yet so was wondering if the recipe as given will store or whether I would have to make fresh every day?

I am pleased to hear you are making smoothie regularly for the family!

Your choices of kale, spinach, spring greens & milled linseed sound great. I would recommend that you only use one type of fruit at a time like apple, pear or berries and that it is mainly vegetables. Maybe adding in a red pepper can help with the sweetness.

The best would be to progress to an all vegetable smoothie!

Let me know how you are getting on.

You can have a smoothie for breakfast or a snack especially if you are adding in ground flaxseeds etc

Yes, you can use frozen spinach. I often freeze spinach and kale when I have bought more than we can eat or drink to use in smoothies at a later date.

My smoothie recipe from the SFF is not up on my website yet but yes absolutely you can try this smoothie minus the fruit and with some additional carrot tops.

Let me know what you think!

Your recipe contains apples or mangoes, but on the programme they weren’t allowed fruit for the first week, should I follow the recipe and simply leave out the fruit or is there a different recipe ?
